Art & Design

Creating iconic images with bold colors, graphic line work, and powerful subjects is a big piece of who I am and how I make art.

Take a look below at some of the projects I've worked on over the years.

Some of my illustration, mural, and branding work I've created for Paco's Tacos & Redeux.

I collaborated with Story Supply Co. in 2019 to make a limited run of t-shirts with my illustrations on them.

I had some friends buy a few shirts and show them off.

Some digital illustration work done using Procreate:

I draw a lot of influence from art history- my favorite periods being the Northern Renaissance and the early Modern movements following WW1.

Wondering where I go for inspiration?

  • Art galleries & museums: The Walters Art Museum, The National Gallery of Art, David Zwirner Galleries, The Baltimore Museum of Art, The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, The Met 5th Ave.

  • Books: anything published by Drawn & Quarterly or Fantagraphics, Junji Ito's horror manga, my massive Van Gogh book gifted to me by my grandfather (this could go on for pages and pages to be honest)

  • Art writers & historians: Linda Nochlin, Jerry Saltz, Guerrilla Girls, John Berger, and many others.
